that top one looks more like Indian Beach than Ecola or Crescent Beach to me, anyway...

Your Right! Sounds like your familiar with the area! That is Indian Beach @ Ecola State Park @ Cannon Beach, OR (for those not familiar with area.)
I didn't get any pictures of Crescent Beach or the incredible view from Ecola Point--I hate to confess, I'm kind of scared of heights. Too much overpowering potential energy from up there.

But I think everyone needs an opportunity to see that view. There is no real way to truly describe it. One of these days I might try walking down the trail that goes to Crescent Beach. If I get the guts to do it.
